After an impressive performance at SPW Battle Lines, JK Moody has his sights set on something more.
Moments after defeating Tee Hawke at Saturday’s event in Invercargill, Moody fired a verbal shot across the ditch.
“I am the best professional wrestler in New Zealand – bar none,” Moody claimed. “The thing is, I’ve kinda done it all, so what I’m after now is legacy.
“My goal has always been the same, to bring world class professional wrestling right here to SPW and that goal hasn’t changed. So on July 29 … it’s gonna be me against the very best in Australia.
“This is an open challenge to anybody in Australia. You think you’re bad enough to step to the best professional wrestler in New Zealand? Good luck, I’ll see you at the Southern Rumble.”
Moody is experienced wrestling Australians. The Antidote battled MCW Intercommonwealth Champion Adam Brooks on home soil at SPW Halloween Haunting 2018. He also ventured to Melbourne to challenge Slex for the SPW Championship at MCW Ballroom Brawl 2019 after winning that year’s Southern Rumble.
New Zealand VS Australia! The best that SPW has to offer versus the best Australia has to offer, sounds like a fun time…@antimoody issued an open challenge to the best in Australia for a match at the #SouthernRumble on July 29th! Who’s going to answer the call!? 👀 pic.twitter.com/TikVGLjfBR
