New Horizon Pro Wrestling (NHPW) will hold its first event in New Zealand this December, and Homicide and Saraya Knight are the first wrestlers announced for the card.
Final Chapter 13 is scheduled for Saturday, December 3 at the Matamata-Piako Civic & Memorial Centre.
Based in Perth since 2007, NHPW is run by Mana the Polynesian Warrior – one of the first Kiwi wrestlers to venture abroad in the new millennium, and a former resident of Matamata.
“I know we will put on a special show for my hometown,” Mana tweeted. “First time I’ll be back in 20 years. I look forward to it.”
Both Homicide and Saraya Knight have wrestled multiple times for NHPW in Perth.
Homicide was inducted into the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame in January. Perhaps best known to New Zealand audiences for his time in TNA (now Impact Wrestling), Homicide is a former X-Division Champion and NWA/TNA Tag Team Champion alongside Hernandez as the original LAX.
Saraya Knight is the matriarch of the UK’s Knight family and mother of former WWE Superstar Paige. Lena Headley (Cersei Lannister, Game of Thrones) portrayed Saraya in the 2019 film Fighting With My Family, produced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Opponents for Homicide and Saraya Knight have yet to be confirmed, with more roster announcements expected before tickets to Final Chapter 13 go on sale.
