Magnum has scored what may be the biggest win of his career by pinning Charlie Roberts to win the PWE Northland Championship.
PWE roared back to life after more than a year of inactivity due to the Covid-19 pandemic with Live Pro Wrestling this past weekend. Magnum challenged Roberts in a fast-paced, action-packed main event.
After both men hit each other with the best manoeuvrers in their arsenals, Magnum narrowly pulled out the win with a double-arm DDT.
Following the match, Roberts handed the championship to Magnum in a show of respect before the new champion dashed into the audience to celebrate with his Morrinsville fans.
Magnum is not the only new champion to come out of Live Pro Wrestling. James Shaw and Saint Finn claimed the vacant PWE Tag Team Championship with a win over Jay Marshall and Lo Peor.
The win marks Shaw’s 23rd title reign overall and his first as PWE Tag Team Champion.
