The eyes of the world are on Travis Banks this morning.
The Kiwi Buzzsaw will be part of the first WhatCulture Pro Wrestling (WCPW) iPPV offering, Refuse to Lose.
Banks will compete for the vacant Internet Championship – a title introduced to WCPW by Eric Bischoff – in a featured bout in Newcastle.
Followers of Loaded, WCPW’s weekly internet broadcast, know Banks was not originally scheduled to be part of the match between Alberto El Patron and El Ligero, but turned the title bout into a triple threat with a win over Ligero in singles action.
Banks scuffled with El Patron backstage in the same broadcast.
Banks told NZPWI he was looking forward to wrestling El Patron on such a visible platform. Wrestling fans around the world can see Banks in action against the former WWE Champion.
WCPW Refuse to Lose is available on iPPV via the Fite TV app, or as part of a subscription to WhatCuture Extra.
Legendary commentator Jim Ross will call the action alongside Jim Cornette. The iPPV also features Kurt Angle, Cody Rhodes, and NJPW star Minoru Suzuki in action.
