Aaron Henry, Ben Mana and Kingston Eclipse sent APW fans home happy with a win over Rodeo Drive in the main event of the Christchurch promotion’s Domination event this past Saturday.
All three men pulled together as a trio, dishing out the Maori Spike, the Saiyan Punch, and the Battleaxe Elbow in quick succession to overcome their more experienced opponents.
Having sent Bryant, Chad Howard and Charlie Roberts scattering, Eclipse, Henry and Mana concluded the night with a rousing performance of the haka.
While the night’s main event sent fans home happy, APW faithful were distressed by multiple appearances from the Southern Wrecking Crew earlier in the evening.
The group—formed at APW’s last event, Boot Camp—interfered in several matches at Domination.
The Southern Wrecking Crew ensured members Reece Breeg and Simon Seven won Domination’s opening tag team contest, caused a disqualification by interfering in T-Cole vs. “Rufguts” Roddy Gunn, and attacked James Shaw after his show-stealing two-out-of-three falls match against Dal Knox.
