The path to Nightmare B4 Xmas, and crowning a new IPW Champion, begins tonight at Damage Control.
The John Locke Theatre at Alfriston College will play host to four quarter-final matches in what has been dubbed the Nightmare Championship Series.
The winners of each will advance to the semi-finals and grand final at Nightmare B4 Xmas where the annual Fans Bring the Weapons Match will determine a new IPW Champion.
Dal Knox and James Shaw are immediate favourites in the eight-man tournament as former IPW Champions. Johnny Idol and Shane Sinclair also stand out as holders of other national titles.
Brook Duncan will be looking to build on the momentum of his Armageddon Cup victory. Liger will hope to remind audiences he is an accomplished singles wrestler as well as a tag team competitor. No Face has a chance to make history and end his rookie year as IPW Champion, while Curt Chaos could ultimately claim the gold without having to use his Eliminator Contract.
IPW Damage Control takes place tonight, November 14, at Alfriston College, 550 Porchester Road, Auckland. Doors open at 6.30pm with a bell-time of 7pm. Tickets are available on the door at a rate of $20 for adults and $10 for children. The card, subject to change, is listed below.
