Auckland’s Impact Pro Wrestling (IPW) features on Bogans tonight, from 9pm on TV2.
The Bogans cast attended IPW Nightmare Before Xmas last December to see James Shaw take on Jakob Cross in the annual Fans Bring the Weapons Match.
“The show centres around … us going to different events and I sort of provide some of the explanations and my take on things from that kind of bogan academic insider’s perspective,” Dr Dave Snell told Hamilton News.
“My favourite moment in the show was when we went to an IPW wrestling event up in Auckland. I got to have a couple of moves tried on me, which was hilarious.”
