The event was aptly named for Scarlett, who has been seeking retribution against Quinn ever since losing the KPW Women’s Championship to her at NZWPW Power Play in November 2014.
Quinn had retained her title by any means necessary over the past few months, making the Street Fight stipulation a requirement for their latest battle.
With thumb tacks and all manner of weapons involved in the bout, a bloody Scarlett overcame Quinn by delivering a Curb Stomp onto a folding chair to reclaim her title and become a two-time KPW Women’s Champion.
Kingston Eclipse retained the Jackson Shield in the co-main event of the evening, defeating Ben Mana in his toughest test to date.
Eclipse nailed Mana with the Battle Axe elbow before pinning the former NZWPW Champion to hold onto the Jackson Shield and extend his undefeated streak in Maniacs United.
Also at Retribution, JPE dissolved the OCD stable with an attack on longtime ally Dan Stryker. Stryker, and anyone else affiliated with OCD, had been banned from ringside for JPE’s match against Blaze. When she lost to the up-and-coming fire-eater, JPE blamed Stryker for not being there and attacked him after her match.
