After a chaotic Beat Down event last Friday, scores look to be settled more definitively at NZWPW Bringing Down the Beat Down tonight.
Following their out of control brawl at the end of last Friday’s event, NZWPW CWO Rehu has announced Paul Sayers and “Rufguts” Roddy Gunn will meet with the NZWPW Championship on the line.
Furthermore, The Nobodies will be banned from ringside, meaning Rufguts will have to face Sayers alone without the help of Dream Catcher or JC Star.
Can Sayers combine his quest for revenge with the pursuit of gold, and hit Rufguts where it hurts the most by prying the NZWPW Championship from him with Dream Catcher and JC Star powerless to intervene?
JC Star will be tied up in a rematch of his own earlier in the evening when he faces Ben Mana.
Mana defeated Star by disqualification last Friday night when Dream Catcher blew a handful of Dream Dust into Mana’s eyes. As such, The Nobodies will also be banned from ringside for this contest, giving the Modern Maori Warrior a chance to get even with Star.
NZWPW Bringing Down the Beat Down takes place tonight, September 5, at the He Toa Gym on North Street, Petone. Doors open at 7pm with the first match scheduled for 7.30pm. Tickets are available on the door ($15 for adults, $10 for children). The card, subject to change, is listed below.
