Maniacs United has announced details of its next event, Supremacy, celebrating two years since the promotion’s launch in 2012.
Supremacy, to be held next Saturday (July 19) will see the debut of the Jackson Shield – the top prize for members of the Maniacs United roster.
The Shield is named after two of Maniacs United’s biggest supporters, a spokesperson told NZPWI.
“They represent and encourage old-style values and in turn the Shield reflects that: hard work, dedication, commitment, good ethics, respect and loyalty.”
Thus, it seemed only fitting to debut it at the promotion’s two-year anniversary event.
The Jackson Shield will be decided in a gauntlet match, pitting wrestlers from all over the country against each other in a series of back-to-back matches until only one person is left standing.
At present, six competitors have been announced for the gauntlet.
Maniacs United’s Dan Stryker, Hotaru, and Kingston Eclipse will be joined by KPW’s Bull Addams, Stix, and Scarlett, with more wrestlers still expected to be announced.
Maniacs United Supremacy takes places Saturday, July 19, at Kaurilands Primary School in Auckland.
