The eight men entered into the second annual Hughes Academy tournament, to be held Saturday, June 14, have been announced.
Graham Hughes will be joined by Charlie Roberts, Jimmy Fox, Marcus Kool, and Stix, as well as newer faces Curtis Castlewood, KPW referee Daniel Martins, and SCW’s Kauri Walker for the Live Pro Wrestling event.
The eight will compete in a one-night, single elimination tournament with the winner advancing to face “The Shooter” Shane Sinclair, who won last year’s Hughes Academy tournament, for the Hughes Academy Cup in the main event of the evening.
The live crowd will select the brackets for first round matches in the tournament, according to the Hughes Academy website.
Frankie Quinn will take on long-time rival Krystal Kayne in an undercard bout.
The event will also featured the debuts of El Ono Maximo and “The Neo Viper” Kartik.
Hughes Academy Live Pro Wrestling takes place Saturday, June 14, at the Kelston Community Centre in Auckland. Tickets will be available on the door.
