Fans of the British style of pro wrestling have the opportunity to learn the basics this weekend in an intensive training camp.
The Hughes Academy of Professional Wrestling is holding a training camp in Auckland, packing 22 hours of training into two days.
This style of training camp is similar to the ones in which WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre and former WWE Superstar Paul Burchill broke into the business, Hughes Academy head trainer Graham Hughes says.
Training commences at 9am on Saturday, running through until 9pm, and resumes at 9am on Sunday until 7pm.
The camp is suitable for beginners, or anyone interested in brushing up on the basics of British wrestling, says Hughes.
The camp costs $100 per person, with accommodation available on Saturday night if required. Contact Graham Hughes (02108119971) or visit the Hughes Academy Facebook page for more information.
