Bad Luck Fale’s Bullet Club picked up another win in New Japan Pro-Wrestling this past Saturday.
Fale, “Machine Gun” Karl Anderson and Prince Devitt took on Captain New Japan, Tomoaki Honma and Tougi Makabe in six-man action at the Road to Destruction event in Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall.
Fale won the match for his team after hitting the Grenade on Honma.
The Underboss, as Fale is known in Japan, began the bout against Makabe. As the match progressed, he and Honma became the legal men.
Honma hit the ropes and rushed toward Fale but was intercepted by an Ace Crusher from Anderson. Devitt then came from the top rope with a double-stomp to Honma, leaving him vulnerable for a Grenade from Fale to finish the bout.
Bullet Club would reappear later in the night, after Tama Tonga and Rey Bucanero defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi and Jushin “Thunder” Liger to win the CMLL tag team titles.
Fale, Anderson, Devitt, and Tonga sent a further message to Tanahashi and attacked the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion after the bell, as they have done at recent NJPW events.
Puroresu Spirit reports Fale was also victorious on Friday, hitting Honma with the Grenade to win the same six-man tag team bout for the Bullet Club at an NJPW live event.
