Impact Pro Wrestling has today announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling star King Fale will be making a special guest appearance at IPW Genesis on March 30.
“Remember when we said we’d be going all out for our final two shows? How does New Japan Pro Wrestling star King Fale competing at Genesis sit with you?” reads the message published by the official IPW Facebook page.
King Fale will take on Travis Banks in a one-on-one match.
The 1.93 metre King Fale – who is a former rugby union player and weighs in at 113 kg – has competed alongside the likes of WWE’s Tensai (formerly Giant Bernard) and puroresu legend Jushin Thunder Liger during his career.
With IPW Genesis set to be Impact Pro Wrestling’s penultimate event, IPW has pledged that this show will be one of the most memorable in the company’s 10 year history. This announcement suggests that they will be living up to that promise.
Already announced for the show is the annual eliminator match, which will see a host of IPW athletes competing for a place in the last ever main event in IPW history.
