New Zealand’s King Fale wrestled a dark match for American promotion Ring of Honor late last month.
Fale wrestled on the undercard of the ROH show held in Dayton, Ohio, on April 29.
“I’m still unsure if they will use me again there,” he said, “but I’m here [in the United States] for experience.”
Fale, who grew up in New Zealand before moving overseas on a rugby scholarship and finding success in New Japan Pro Wrestling, moved to the United States in March of this year.
“The American style is very different from Japan,” he said.
While in the United States, Fale has been training under ROH World Champion Davey Richards.
Fale has also had the opportunity to wrestle Richards, taking on the American Wolf at a local indie show for Strictly Nsane Pro Wrestling show on April 18.
