WWE.com has today reported that SmackDown will be holding a live event in Auckland on February 24, 2007, with a WWE tryout held earlier that day.
NZPWI has been working closely with Dainty Consolidated Entertainment (DCE), the promotional company responsible for bringing WWE to New Zealand earlier this year, and who stated back in May that they would be looking at bringing the WWE back in early 2007.
However, DCE Director of Touring Luke Hede has confirmed that although a tour is in the works, a date or location has not been confirmed as yet, despite what WWE.com is reporting.
