Morning radio listeners were in for a treat as former World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton was interviewed this morning on The Rock FM’s Morning Rumble show with Nick Trott and Roger Farrelly.
Calling in to promote the WWE SmackDown Road To WrestleMania 22 tour, Orton talked about what it means to be a “Legend Killer”, saying that the recent incident where the Undertaker was burned alive was a “tragedy”.
“He fell at the hands of the Legend Killer,” Orton remarked.
Orton promised that he would go to the same extremes next March in Wellington, or perhaps even further as he feels that it’s important to leave a lasting impression on the international fans – adding that he has no doubt that the Westpac Stadium show will be a sellout.
The Rock FM will feature more interviews with WWE superstars as the WWE SmackDown Road To WrestleMania 22 tour approaches. Rest assured that NZPWI will give you advance warning of these interviews as they come along.
For the NZPWI readers who could not tune in to the Morning Rumble, NZPWI will be posting the full interview audio, complete with a full transcript tomorrow.
