New Zealand’s own Cruz has successfully defended his WCWA Cruiserweight Championship at WCWA’s latest show, which took place last Sunday, November 17.
Cruz defeated Maverick Sommers at the show, which saw BJ Blade attack Super Coach Jas the Ace with a steel chair. Blade then attacked Cruz after the match but Cruz broke the chair over Blade’s head. BJ Blade will face Cruz at the next show in a TLC match.
Fellow New Zealander Sweet Ass lost to Chris Saxxon also at the show. Sweet Ass had Saxxon locked into his “Sweet Surrender” reverse Boston crab when Saxxon submitted. However, when Sweet Ass refused to let go of the hold, the decision was reversed.
